For most of two decades I have championed companies operating at the edges of regulated markets — beginning as a litigation and appellate specialist in DC and Miami, and then as general counsel to a large cannabis MSO and a global botanical extracts company.
In between, I built a groundbreaking retailer, developed it into an influential brand, and sold the company. I have made payroll, secured licenses, and faced down regulators with my own capital on the line.
